i can totally see mila doing the same thing..  i guess i should watch my potty mouth around mila……

whomever hacked into my work email account struck again.  this time it wasn’t my email address but another person at my work.  the IT director called me into his office and asked me if i ever had a hard time with anyone in IT.  i told him that my experiences with working with IT were okay.  apparently whomever hacked into my email and the other person’s email account is not from the outside.  who would be so freaking bored at work to do something so horrific?  seriously people!!!!  get yer ass to work and stop f’ing around with people who are just trying to do their work and do it well…..  

so libby, mila and i were at the mall on sunday after we had lunch with the rest of the girls.  as we were walking through the mall we saw that there was a photo booth area with the easter bunny.  mila was all excited and wanted her picture taken with him.  by the time we went to stand in line the easter bunny had gone to take a break to have some carrots.  so waited and waited and waited and waited… finally the easter bunny was strolling down the mall towards the photo booth area.  we waited in line for our turn to take the picture.  when it was finally mila’s turn she decided she didn’t want to take a picture with the easter bunny anymore.  i was so freaking pissed.  this is the third time she has wanted to take her picture with some character and she decides last minute, she won’t have any of it.  after much cajoling and talking her into it, mila finally agreed to take her picture with the easter bunny if i was in on it too.  here is the result of all that drama…

all i have to say is thank god i was somewhat dressed up too!  shieeettt…. 

after all of the craziness of someone hacking into my old email user id on my work laptop, IT came over in the afternoon and handed me my new laptop with a new user id and password.  the IT guy assured me that this laptop was new from the box and that it was “crap”free. 

apparently what i thought was so random weirdness with my laptop totally took a turn for the worst on sunday evening.  my boss called me on my cell phone and asked if i was okay.  i said, “yes of course”.  she asked if ed and i had a blow out fight and i responded, ‘no, we’re good, why?” then she proceeded to tell me that around 2am on sunday morning someone had sent out several offensive and inappropriate emails from my work email account to her, two emails to a sales guy that i work with which was also cc:ing all of human resources and a meeting invite to all of manufacturing.  the only two words that come to mind about how i felt when she said that was “embarrassed” and “mortified.”  i assured her that i did not send them because i was passed out on the couch asleep when those emails were sent out.  she told me that she believed me since i was having connectivity issues with my laptop the week before.  every day all last week, IT had to come to my desk to help me get logged onto my laptop and the network. 

thank god she called me and let me know what was going on.  i am so glad that my boss went to bat for me with HR and IT.  i spent majority of the morning with IT changing my passwords, giving them my laptop to investigate what had happened and then they proceeded to create a new sign on and building me a new laptop. 

i’ve always heard of stories where these things happened in other companies and i never thought that it would happen to me.  i feel like someone was being malicious and decided to slander my reputation at work.  it’s not been a great weekend and not a great way to start the work week.  but i am grateful for my boss for realizing that the emails that were sent were out of the ordinary and was not something i would do.  i am still embarrassed and mortified but i know for a fact that my coworkers do not believe it was me.   i am just thankful that this situation turned out all right.  i don’t even want to think of what would have happened if it didn’t.  i’m just counting my blessings that my boss knows me better than that. 

I am seriously going to freaking throw my stupid laptop against the wall.  i have had incidences with it since wednesday and i’m not sure why it is happening or what is going on.  i know that when i utilize this one work program and it comes up with this weird error message, it royally f*cks with my laptop.  the first time it happened it disabled my work account after i restarted my computer.  i had to go find IT myself to get them to help me out and the IT guys (thank god!) was able to just enable my account without any incidence.  the second time the error message came up, i restarted and it didn’t disable my log on but it wouldn’t let me get past the log on screen.  the same IT guy came by before his dr’s appointment and was able to fix it.  today, today, i could log on past the log on screen but i could not for the life of me connect to email and the stupid program that jacked my system in the first place.  the same IT guy came by and then had to reset the ip address.  i dunno what is happening but all i want to do is throw this f’er laptop against the wall and then run it over with my car.  i just want to catch up on my work and just be done with work.  FACK!!!!!

 This past Saturday Ed, Mila and I went to our friend’s Max Muscle store in San Mateo for their 1 year anniversary celebration.  There were free samples of different protein supplements, pills, drinks, etc.   The one thing that most people wanted the most was to meet Mr. Olympia 2006 Jay Cutler.  Ed went ahead of time to set up and play music for the event.  By the time Mila and I got to the store, there was a line all the way from the front door of Max Muscle to almost the end of the block.  Apparently he is big time stuff or something.  Mila was so excited about all the people, the music, the festivities and the “Muscle Man”.  She helped her Uncle Jason pass out free energy drinks to the people who were waiting in line to meet Mr. Olympia and was pestering her Uncle jason for a chocolate snack bar.  She would walk in and out of the store and then wave at Mr. Olympia and shook his hand.  When the event finally wound down, Mila got her chance to meet Mr. Olympia.  She was kind of unsure and shy about it all so I took her up with me to meet him.  He was really nice and sweet with her.  He spoke to her about how she was doing and then he flexed his bicep and told her that he put a softball in his arm so it would look bigger for that day.  He told her that when he got home he would take the softball out.  She seemed to take it all in and enjoyed the moment.  Finally she picked out the free photograph that she liked the best and he autographed it for her.  When we got home she was so happy and so proud of her autographed picture of the “Muscle Man” that she carried around with her the entire night.  Check out the two pictures that we took with the “Muscle Man.”  The first one is with my camera phone and the second one is what her Uncle Jason sent to us.

this is what happens when i can’t sleep, i’m bored and i run across a random site and i just so happen to make the following picture of mila…

i was talking to my dad today about my grandfather’s passing.  i was telling him how weird it was for me that i wasn’t crying more and he said i am still probably in shock by it all.  anyway, he was telling me that the night that my grandfather passed away, he stayed up late for some reason.  about the time that my grandfather passed away (about 2:36am), the wind started to pick up and it sounded like someone was trying to get into from the backdoor.  my dad knew that the gates were shut so there was no way anyone could get to the back door.  when he turned on the light, he didn’t see anything at all.  he and i both think that it was my grandfather coming to our house in LA and trying to get in.  weird how death and the spirit works.  i guess after he passed, he had all his faculties again.    it’s good to know that he knows where we live. 

i ran into this on the net somehow. it’s freaking hilarious and i needed a good laugh with all that has happened this weekend.
