my daily picture of “engrish”. . .

a friend of mine recently pointed out a website to me called engrish.com.  i was looking at some of the pictures that were posted on there and i was laughing my freaking ass off.  so i thought that i should do a daily picture of some english that is seen around the world.  currently, this one makes me crack up like crazy.  i don’t know why but i can’t stop laughing when i see this one. . .

Mila loves to sing.  She sings everything all the time.  Sometimes she gets the lyrics right and sometimes she is a little off.  Lately she has been telling me that her “song” is Ne-yo’s “Sexy Love” and Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack”.  She tells me all the time that she is sexy.  I don’t know if she understands what “sexy” means but she swears she is “sexy.”  Cracks me up. 

So she was singing a song today.  I think it’s a song that she learned from her school.   I think it’s a religious song and I think it’s supposed to go as such: 

“This is the day, this is the day that the lord has made, that the lord has made.”

But Mila has decided that the lyrics should go as such:

“This is the day, this is the day that the whore has made, that the whore has made.”

See, she doesn’t know any better.  I keep correcting her but she is as stubborn as they come.  *sigh*  Maybe one day she’ll figure out that it’s not “the day that the whore has made” but “the lord.”  I hope she does sing it that way when they have to go to chapel services.

mila is so proud of the happy faces that she drew one day.  she asked me to take a picture of it.

this has got to be my favorite picture from mila’s party.  she was using maracas to make herself look like shrek making a funny face.  bwahahahahaa….

9/11 is almost here and i thought i was pretty much over all the pain…  but i’m not …  i still miss my friend arnold even though i know he is looking down watching over all of us.  i guess the hurt has resurfaced because of all the 9/11 related films that have been put out…  ‘flight 93′ and ‘world trade center’ have hit a raw nerve within me.  i watched the trailer for ‘flight 93′ and bawled my eyeballs out.  it came out the ugly cry… the kind where you are hyperventilating and you can’t catch your breath.  poor mila was so freaked out that i was crying that she started crying out of empathy…  i wonder what arnold would be doing if he was still here.  hehe.. i know what he’d be doing…  living life to the fullest as he always had.  i miss you my friend arnold…  i miss our talks, hanging out when i was in nyc, just being….  R.I.P. my friend…..
