today is a momentous day for shortie and me.  today is the beginning of summer session preschool for shortie.  i have to say that i was a bit nervous and kind of apprehensive about it all.  i’m sure shortie felt the tense and weird vibe emanating from me.  when we got to the preschool, she was actually okay.  when the director greeted us and showed us where she would be putting her backpack, her extra set of clothing, her lunch bag she kept saying “no, no, no” nad hiding behind my dress.  when she met her teacher miss laura, she kept saying “no, no, no” and hid behind my dress again.  after we put her lunch bag in the refrigerator, she started wailing and howling.  it was then that the director told ed and i that maybe this would be a good time for us to go and that she would give me a call when she settled down.  i was holding back all of my fears of her starting preschool and all of the tears i wanted to cry because she was so upset.  but i held it in like a trooper.  it was reassuring to know that the director was so calm and so understanding that i was nervous of her going to preschool and that mila was not familiar with her new surroundings.  the director called me at work around 11am to let me know that shortie actually didn’t cry for very long after we left and that she was doing really well in the 3.5 and 4.5 age group.  i was surprised that she was in the higher level since she is only 2 almost 3 come this september.  but i’m so proud that she was such a good girl and that she was doing so well with her preschool coursework.  makes me feel so proud of how ed and i have raised her so far.  hopefully we can keep up the good work.    tomorrow, i’ll post a pic of shortie proudly posing with her new disney princess lunch tote on her first day of school…. until tomorrow…

working out to get back into shape because i fell off the “wagon” for so long sucks ass….

oh well, at least i’m starting to get back into it so that by whatever time period passes i will be back to where i used to be….

i love my mother.  she has been here in the US for 30+ years.  one would think that she would speak english properly by now.  but she has her moments when she breaks out in this broken / fobby english that just kills me and my sisters.  we think she speaks like a fob because she is around a lot of employees / customers / people that are from asia.  anyway, i was on my cell with my sister driving home and my sister starts laughing hysterically / uncontrollably and can hardly relay the events that just occurred at my parents’ office….  when she was finally able to calm down enough so i could fully understand her we both started laughing uncontrollably to the point where there were tears streaming down our faces and our bellies were aching from so much laughter…  i couldn’t remember the story exactly so she emailed it to me…

why is britney spears such an idiot?  she decides to take her new mini out for a spin and so she straps sean preston in his carseat..  maybe her embarassment from the paparazzi taking a picture of her driving away in her suv with him in her lap has finally slapped her into some reality…  but come on!!!! the dumb bitch put him facing foward rather than facing backwards…  he is only 8 months old and by law you’re supposed to face the baby backwards til they are at least 1 years old and 20 pounds in weight…  this girl needs to get her head out of her ass and think for once…  good lord…  i fear for the fetus growing inside of her….
